REFUND POLICY

Mel Global Connect

At Mel Global Connect, we are committed to delivering high-quality digital, creative, branding, printing, and business support services. Due to the nature of our services, all refund requests are handled in accordance with the terms outlined below.

1. General Policy

By purchasing any service from Mel Global Connect, the client acknowledges and agrees to this Refund Policy.

As many of our services involve time, expertise, design work, consultation, customization, and digital deliverables, refunds may not be available once work has commenced.

2. Website Design and Development

This includes business websites, e-commerce stores, landing pages, web applications, website maintenance, hosting, domain registration, and related services.

  • A deposit paid to secure a website project is non-refundable.
  • Once website design, development, planning, content integration, domain registration, hosting setup, or any related work has commenced, no refund will be issued for work already completed.
  • If a client decides to cancel a project after work has started, Mel Global Connect reserves the right to invoice for all work completed up to the cancellation date.
  • Domain registrations, hosting fees, premium plugins, premium themes, software licenses, and third-party services purchased on behalf of the client are strictly non-refundable.
  • If a project is completed according to the agreed scope, no refund will be provided.

3. E-Commerce Stores

  • Deposits and milestone payments are non-refundable once development begins.
  • Third-party costs including payment gateway integrations, hosting, domains, software subscriptions, premium plugins, and product uploads are non-refundable.
  • Refunds will not be granted due to changes in business strategy, lack of sales, or changes of mind after project commencement.

4. Branding and Graphic Design Services

This includes logo design, company profiles, business cards, brochures, flyers, social media content, packaging design, banners, and marketing materials.

  • No refunds will be issued after concepts, drafts, or designs have been presented.
  • If a client cancels before any work has commenced, a partial refund may be considered at management’s discretion.
  • Design approval by the client constitutes acceptance of the work and makes the project non-refundable.

5. Printing Services

This includes all printed materials supplied by Mel Global Connect.

  • Once artwork has been approved and sent to print, no refunds or cancellations will be accepted.
  • Refunds will only be considered where a printing error is directly caused by Mel Global Connect or its approved printing partners.
  • Clients are responsible for reviewing and approving all artwork before printing.

6. Safety Files and Compliance Documentation

  • Safety files, compliance documents, health and safety documentation, and related services are customized for each client and are therefore non-refundable once preparation has commenced.
  • Refunds will not be issued for delays caused by clients failing to provide required information or documentation.

7. CV Writing and Professional Documents

This includes CVs, resumes, cover letters, business proposals, company profiles, and similar documentation.

  • Due to the personalized nature of these services, all payments are non-refundable once work has started.
  • Clients are entitled to reasonable revisions as agreed during the project.

8. Photography and Videography Services

  • Booking deposits are non-refundable.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled shoot may result in the full booking fee being charged.
  • Completed photography and videography services are non-refundable.
  • Refunds will not be granted based on subjective preferences once agreed deliverables have been supplied.

9. Consultation Fees

  • Consultation, site visit, measurement, planning, and advisory fees are non-refundable.
  • Consultation fees cover time, travel expenses, expertise, and professional recommendations provided to the client.

10. Client Delays and Abandoned Projects

  • Projects delayed by the client for more than 30 days may be placed on hold.
  • Projects abandoned for more than 90 days may be closed without refund.
  • Any restart of a closed project may incur additional fees.

11. Exceptional Circumstances

Mel Global Connect may, at its sole discretion, consider partial refunds in exceptional circumstances where:

  • Work has not yet commenced;
  • Services cannot be delivered due to reasons directly attributable to Mel Global Connect; or
  • A written agreement specifically provides for a refund.

12. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Clients agree to contact Mel Global Connect directly to resolve any concerns before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with their bank or payment provider.

Where services have been delivered, Mel Global Connect reserves the right to provide evidence of completed work, communication records, invoices, approvals, and deliverables to dispute unjustified chargebacks.
